What is an objection?
An objection is a written statement, usually in the form of a letter, setting out the grounds for objection to a pending application. It will be signed by the objector or their conveyancer.
We often receive objections in response to a notice that we have issued. However, with the exception of applications to cancel either a caution against first registration or a unilateral notice, any person with grounds to do so can object to a pending application, even if we have not served a notice.
