What is a land registrar?

Each local Land Registry office has a land registrar who has delegated authority from the Chief Land Registrar to make registration decisions under the Land Registration Acts and Rules, affecting land/properties dealt with by the local office. Any registration decision made by a land registrar is final; the only way to challenge an administrative decision of the land registrar is by judicial review in the courts.
