How it works
-
2012/13 data: Download monthly price paid data for residential property sales in England and Wales since 01 February 2012 for free from our website. Free price paid data is supplied under the terms of the Open Government Licence.
-
Archived datasets: We are releasing historical Price Paid Data under an Open Government License in 2013. The data set consists of more than 17 million definitive records.
-
On 28 June 2013 we will publish historical Price Paid Data (PPD) in CSV format. This first release will contain records of the price paid for every residential property sold at full market value lodged for registration between 1 January 2009 to 31 January 2012 in England and Wales. This will be available as linked data from July.
-
By November 2013 we will publish the remainder of the historical PPD that covers the period 1 January 1995 to 31 December 2008.
-
The staggered release will allow for re-formatting of the data from 1995 to 2009 to bring it more into line with the post-2009 data.
-
Please contact the Add Value team (details below) if you wish to use historical data before it is freely available.
-
Price paid data reports: Access aggregated price paid data for a specific geographical area from as little as £20 with our standard report service.
