How it works
- Access the service through Business Gateway - our business-to-business channel that links your case management system (CMS) directly with our systems.
- Register Extract includes source data from the Land Register in an electronic data stream alongside the usual supply of the Official copy. The information extracted includes details about the property, the proprietor and any leases, restrictions, agreed notices, unilateral notices, cautions, and charges that apply to the property.
- Our ‘quick reference’ indicator highlights the register entries that may require further action for your clients, such as cautions, agreed notices and unilateral notices.
The electronic data stream enables information to be fed directly into your casework management system:
reducing the chance of data entry errors resulting from manual input
decreasing processing times
improving due diligence.
Gives you confidence that the data you use is the best available as it is extracted directly from the same source data as the official copy.
Allows you to build checks and processes such as data validation into your system.
A PDF of the official copy of the register is automatically sent with the data extract to reduce your administration time and provide your staff with the supporting information they need to process an application.
Uses XML (data stream) format.
Uses computerised register codes to recognise information from registers, rather than identifying key words from a PDF of a register.
